Ukrainian banks expect an increase in mortgage lending and an inflow of deposits in the first quarter of the year, the National Bank of Ukraine reported Monday. Large banks have indicated that the development of the real estate market and consumer confidence may slightly increase the demand for mortgage lending, according to the Q1 Bank Lending Survey.
