KYIV, April 12 – The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has raised its forecast for wheat exports from Ukraine in the 2023/24 marketing year by another 1.5 million tons, to 16.5 million tons.
According to the April report of the American department, at the same time, the estimate of transition balances at the end of the MY was reduced from 3.28 million tons to 1.58 million tons, domestic consumption - from 7.7 million tons to 7.3 million tons, and transition balances at the beginning of this MY - from 3.5 million tons to 2.9 million tons.
