KYIV, April 25 – On April 25, the dispatch center of NPC Ukrenergo was forced to attract emergency assistance for most of the day from the power systems of European countries for the fourth day in a row.

"However, today its total volume is slightly lower than yesterday, thanks to increased production from solar power plants," the system operator said on Thursday.

According to Ukrenergo, sunny weather contributes to the active operation of power plants using renewable energy sources, due to which electricity production has increased. In addition, one unit of the thermal power plant was put back into operation after emergency repairs.
