KYIV, April 25 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has improved its inflation forecast for 2024 from 8.6% to 8.2% and worsened it for 2025 from 5.8% to 6%.
"As before, the NBU forecasts a moderate increase in inflationary pressure this year in view of the expected vanishing of effects from last year's strong harvests, continued recovery in consumption, a rise in business costs amid the war," NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy said at a briefing.
