Official: Ukraine pumped 1.5 bcm of natgas into storage last month Journal Staff Report
Ukraine in August pumped 1.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas into its underground storage facilities, which increased gas stocks to 14.482 bcm, Ukrtransgaz spokesman Maskym Beliavsky reported. "As of this morning gas storage facilities have 14.482 bcm of natural gas. The daily pumping is 52 million cubic meters (mcm)," he said. He said that as of September 1, 2014 Ukraine held 15.722 bcm of gas in underground storage facilities, and as of September 1, 2013 – 12.042 bcm.
