President signs bill ratifying €1.8 billion EU aid agreement Journal Staff Report
President Petro Poroshenko has signed a bill on the ratification of the memorandum between Ukraine and the EU on the provision of EUR 1.8 billion of micro-financial aid. Parliament voted in favor of the law on June 18. The president's administration said that the memorandum between Ukraine and European Union was signed in Riga on May 22 and comes into force when the European Union receives official notification from Ukraine that it has passed all legislative hurdles.
