Standard & Poor's lowers ratings boom on Ukrainian city of Kiev Journal Staff Report
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has lowered its long-term issuer credit ratings on the Ukrainian City of Kiev and its issue ratings on Kiev's debt to 'CC' from 'CCC' and placed them on CreditWatch with negative implications, reads a report of the agency. Before the September revision Kiev's Outlook was Stable. Ratings of bond issues of Kiev City and Kiev Finance Plc were also lowered to 'CC' from 'CCC.' Standard & Poor's 'CC' means a high risk of non-payment.
