Ireland's Allied Irish Bank close to buying majority stake in Rodovid Bank, Ukraine’s No. 18 bank by assets, Economicheskie Izvestia newspaper reported. "The majority shareholders in Rodovid are close to signing a preliminary agreement for the sale of their stake. The purchase could come to around $450 million. The value of the bank has been put at $600 million," the newspaper said.
