Ukraine plans to increase borrowings on foreign market by 3% in 2008 Journal Staff Report
Ukraine plans to increase borrowings on the foreign market by 3% in 2008, to UAH8.037 billion, while doubling them on the domestic market, to UAH7.776 billion. According to the draft 2008 state budget, aggregate borrowings are planned to be UAH15.813 in 2008, while the payoff of debts will be UAH5.905 billion, which provides budget financing via loans, worth UAH 9.909 billion or 52% of the target budget deficit (UAH18.945 billion).
