In January-March of the current year, Ukrainian enterprises reduced their consumption of metal products by 27.29% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 610,400 tons, according to Ukrmetalurgprom association. Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced 1.38 million tons of metal products in January-March 2024 (which is 135.5% compared to the same period in 2023).
