KIEV, Dec. 2 – National Bank of Ukraine Governor Volodymyr Stelmakh is ready to carry out his duties in full until a final decision on staffing is made by the president and Parliament, said Valeriy Lytvytsky, the head of the group of advisors to the NBU's governor.
"As law-abiding citizen, the NBU governor will fulfill the decision of the president and Parliament on reshuffling, and won't try to stick to his chair. As a patriot of Ukraine, he won't leave his post until a decision is made, and is ready to continue carrying out his duties in full during hard times for the country," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
