Kyiv, Dec. 25 -Average annual inflation in Ukraine in 2008 could be 14-15%, according to Director of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting Ihor Burakovsky.

According to the assessment the institute, in 2007 average inflation in Ukraine will be 12.8%, and in 2008 it will be 14.6% and even 15%.

He said that fighting inflation will be the key issue both for the new government and the National Bank of Ukraine.
