KIEV, Dec. 12 – The security service SBU said Wednesday it didn’t find evidence of tampering with three electronic voting terminals whose apparent failure had prevented Yulia Tymoshenko from being approved as the prime minister.
SBU, which sent a special team to Parliament Tuesday shortly after the controversial vote, also used expertise from leading computer specialists from Mathematical Machine Institute while checking the voting system.
“The specialists stipulated in a protocol that the terminals do not have external damage, its operation complies with technical specifications,” the SBU said in a letter to President Viktor Yushchenko.
