KIEV, Aug. 30 – The escalating dispute over registration of the Pora party may lead to a situation causing results of the Sept. 30 election to be appealed in court, an election watchdog said Thursday.

Pora, a small party that was earlier a part of President Viktor Yushchenko’s Our Ukraine-People’s Self-defense, was on Tuesday unexpectedly registered by the Central Election Commission as a separate entity running for the election.
