KYIV, April 11 - Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) growth will slow to 3.2% in 2024, reflecting a smaller harvest and persistent labor shortages, the World Bank forecast in its Europe and Central Asia Economic Update released on Thursday.
"Ukraine’s economic outlook is conditional on the timing and quantity of external assistance receipts and the assumed duration of Russia’s invasion. Under an indicative scenario which assumes that active hostilities will continue throughout 2024, GDP is expected to expand modestly by 3.2% in 2024," the bank said.
