KYIV, Nov 27 – Ukrgazvydobuvannia, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, will ensure equal access to gas for all participants through the listing of its gas on the exchange and can reduce its price for consumers, the Secretariat of the European Energy Community believes, but Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev declares the need to prepare the market in order to avoid the growth of debts to the company.

"As a result of the abolition of the PSO, Ukrgazvydobuvannia potentially has 6.21 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year at its disposal, which can be sold on the free market," reads the document on the design of the gas market in Ukraine released on Thursday by the European Energy Community.
