KYIV, Oct 16 – Ukraine may reorganize and merge its 60 state-owned defense and aerospace companies into nine holding to make their operation more competitive and efficient, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky said.

The nine holdings will be parts of only two future conglomerates, six will be part of Defense Systems of Ukraine, and three will be part of Aerospace Systems, he said.
