KYIV, Aug 11 – Ukrainian Coke-Chemical Plants in January-July this year have reduced the production of metallurgical coke with 6% moisture content by 6% compared to the same period last year - to 5.63 million tons.

The association of coke-chemical enterprises Ukrkoks (Dnipro) told Interfax-Ukraine that 820,000 tons of coke were produced in July.

Director General of Ukrkoks Anatoliy Starovoit noted that in recent months metallurgical enterprises have slightly increased their output, which has influenced an increase in demand for coke, and, accordingly, coke plants show higher production volumes.
