KYIV, Feb 18 – The Pivnichniy Mining and Processing Plant, which is the part of the Metinvest Group, in January reduced the pellet production by 31.6% compared to the same period in 2019, to 581,000 tons, the company reported.

Concentrate output increased by 8.2%, to 1.081 million tons in January.

In December, Pivnichniy produced 410,000 tons of pellets and 1,020 million tons of concentrate.

In 2019 Pivnichniy reduced the pellet production, according to current data, by 7.2% compared to 2018, to 7.840 million tons, the concentrate production increased by 14.9%, to 12.245 million tons.
