KYIV, May 8 – Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products in January-March 2019 increased by 22.5%, to $5.4 billion, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has reported.
According to its data, the total external turnover of agricultural products during this period rose by 18.4%, to $6.9 billion.
"The most important factors in the formation of a surplus in the foreign trade balance in the agro-industrial complex remain significant exports of grain crops, which accounted for 45.4%, oil with 22.2%, and oilseeds with some 6.7%," Acting Agriculture Minister Olha Trofimtseva said.
