KYIV, Feb 26 – Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has expressed disappointment with the fact that national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy has failed to meet a gas production target.

"I am disappointed that Naftogaz did not meet the gas production target. I think it is because it feels his monopoly position and it is inferior to the private sector participants in technology. However, I am convinced that we will find the opportunity for the national gas producing company to be effective and achieve the goals and objectives that the state faces. Our task is to extract and produce more energy, to efficiently consume it," Groysman said at the 10th Ukrainian Energy Forum in Kyiv on Tuesday.
