KIEV, July 11 - Viktor Yanukovych, the leader of Ukraine??™s Regions Party, a pro-Russian group, was Tuesday officially nominated for the post of the prime minister, the press service of Parliament reported.

Yanukovych??™s candidacy was submitted by Oleksandr Moroz, the speaker of Parliament, to President Viktor Yushchenko, who is now supposed to sign it before the coalition can vote to approve the new government.
