KYIV, July 18 - The new operator of Ukraine's gas transportation system (GTS) will have to resolve the issue of finding financing for the purchase of almost 4.7 billion cubic meters (bcm) of buffer gas from Naftogaz Ukrayiny.

"Among other things, it is necessary to resolve the issue of purchasing and financing almost 4.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Naftogaz, which at present is used free of charge by Ukrtransgaz to ensure the standard level of buffer gas," the report says.
