KYIV, April 5 – Ukraine and Russia have suspended or terminated 44 mutual agreements since 2014 when Russia has begun its aggression in 2014, Deputy Foreign Minister for European Integration Olena Zerkal said.
"Before 2014, Ukraine and Russia had 451 international agreements signed. After the start of the armed aggression we started an inventory auditing of the legal base for bilateral relations with Russia… According to our data, as of April 2018, all the required internal procedures were passed and a decision to suspend or terminate one interstate agreement, 25 intergovernmental agreements (20 under the initiative of Ukraine and five under the initiative of Russia) and 18 interdepartmental agreements," she said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee for foreign affairs on Wednesday.
