KYIV, March 1 - The European Commission approved a new program of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said Wednesday.
The program is worth 1 billion euros, a source familiar with negotiations told Interfax-Ukraine.
"I welcome the decision by the European Commission to approve a new program of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. This is an important step for supporting reform in the country and ensuring financial stability," Danyliuk wrote on his Facebook page.
