KYIV, Feb 23 – Polish egg producers fear their businesses will decline after Ukraine’s largest egg producer Avangard has received permission to enter the European market, industry sources said.

"The decision of the European Commission will have very serious consequences for Polish egg producers. Expansion of export competition and a significant deterioration in the profitability of egg exports from Poland should be expected," the National Chamber of Poultry and Fodder Producers (KIPDiP) said.
