KIEV, May 30 - Ukraine will seek to sell its state-owned coalmines to private investors and to liberalize coal prices in order to boost the country??™s coal production, President Viktor Yushchenko said Tuesday.

Yushchenko cited the recently approved by the government 25-year energy strategy that seeks to reduce dependence on natural gas imports in favor of boosting domestic coal output.
