KYIV, Dec 18 – Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan on Monday complained that lawmakers have refused to approve a bill that would help improve infrastructure sector.
"Last week he held a joint meeting of two parliamentary committees – transport and EU integration – with participation of Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister [for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration] Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, leaders of the committees, Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli and representatives of the Infrastructure Ministry to break the deadlock. Today eight bills regarding the European integration are in the parliament. We have discussed the state of their readiness," he said.
