KYIV, Nov 21 - Power production in Ukraine increased by 1.4% on the year to 126.704 billion kWh in January-October, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry said Tuesday.

Nuclear power plants (NPP) in the ten months increased production of electricity by 8.7%, to 70.776 billion kWh. In particular, electricity production at Zaporizhia NPP amounted to 28.709 billion kWh (22.5% up compared to January-October 2016), Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP to 13.735 billion kWh (3.1% down), Rivne NPP to 16.524 billion kWh (11.4% up), and Khmelnytsky NPP to 11.807 billion kWh (6.8% down).
