KYIV, Aug 18 – Corruption in the energy sector is the largest among all economic sectors, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has said.

"Eighteen months of NABU's investigation showed that corruption in the energy sector is the largest among all economic sectors both due to the uniqueness of enterprises and due to the large number of persons implicated in the corruption scams and the amount of losses. According to tentative estimates, the total loss from crimes linked to operations of enterprises in the energy sector is UAH 11.18 billion," the press service of the NABU said.
