KIEV, March 3 ??“ Ukraine??™s consumer prices, led by rocketing prices of sugar, increased 1.8% on the month in February, pushing the January-February inflation to the highest level over the past four years, figures suggest.

The consumer prices in February rose twice as fast as in January. This forced the Economy Ministry to revise its original inflation forecast to 10.1% in 2006 from 8.7%, while analysts said the real inflation may be even higher.
