KIEV, Feb. 28 ??“ Ukraine approved a set of procedures opening way for domestic companies to implement projects under the Kyoto Protocol that may help the country earn billions of U.S. dollars in revenue.

A resolution, approved by the government Feb. 22, allows domestic companies to carry out Joint Implementation Projects, or JIP, helping the companies to reduce emissions and to make money in the process.
