KIEV, Nov. 20 - Ukraine's chief forensic expert in the probe of the MH17 crash has survived what police say may have been an assassination attempt motivated by his professional activities.
Oleksandr Ruvin, director of the Kiev Research Institute of Forensic Expertise at the Ministry of Justice, was hospitalized Thursday after receiving a gunshot wound to the leg, according to reports.
