MOSCOW/KIEV, June 19 - Masked people searched an office of Prominvestbank, the Ukrainian subsidiary of Russia's Vnesheconombank, or VEB, on Thursday, seizing files and hard drives, VEB chief Vladimir Dmitriyev said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television on Friday.
"Yesterday the management of our subsidiary bank in Ukraine experienced unpleasant hours. The head office was subjected to a demonstration of force, these were the real 'Masks Show' [a reference to a popular comic television series]. They turned the office upside down, seized hard drives, took all the information and even demonstratively photographed the portrait of the Russian Federation president at the bank's office," Dmitriyev said.
