KIEV, Dec. 15 - At least 4,707 people have been killed in eastern Ukraine since the middle of April, the United Nations said.
According to the latest estimates of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the World Health Organization, at least 4,707 people were killed and 10,322 were wounded in the conflict-ridden areas of eastern Ukraine from the middle of April through December 12, says the eighth report of the UN human rights monitoring mission posted on Monday.
At least 1,357 people have been killed since the declaration of the truce (the period from September 6 to December 12) although some of them might have been killed before the truce was declared, it said.
