Graft charge splits Tymoshenko group
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Nov. 20 – A major split emerged in a group led by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Friday after a key ally had alleged some group members may have been involved in corruption.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has been widely assumed to become one of figures leading Tymoshenko campaign ahead of March 2006 election, said he will run separately. He said he didn’t want “to blush for shame” and to be associated with Oleksandr Volkov and Mykhaylo Brodskiy, important allies of Tymoshenko.
