KIEV, Sept. 21 - Ukraine's law enforcement agency Wednesday appealed recent court rulings that had written off $1.32 billion debt owed to the state by now defunct company once owned by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

The move suggests the agency has discovered actions that it suspects might have been taken illegally while writing off the debt. The developments may put pressure on Tymoshenko, analysts said.
