Firtash’s regional gas distributors to appeal UAH 278-mln fine Journal Staff Report
A group of regional gas disrupting companies owned by wealthy businessman Dmytro Firtash on Wednesday rejected UAH 278 million fine imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee as groundless and plans to challenge it in court. Regional Gas Company (RGC) said the conversion of gas volumes to standard conditions is provided for by Ukrainian legislation, in particular, by the law on the natural gas market, the Code of gas distribution systems, a standard distribution agreement, and supply rules.
