Natural gas output in Ukraine falls 0.8% through end of February Journal Staff Report
Gas output on Ukrainian territory fell 0.8%, or by 29.7 million cubic meters, to 3.47 billion cubic meters (bcm) in January-February 2008 compared to the same period of 2007, with natural gas production falling 0.5% to 3.303 bcm, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax. Naftogaz Ukrayiny enterprises reduced gas production 0.3%, or by 11 mcm, to 3.222 bcm in the two months, including natural gas by 0.1%, or by 3 mcm, to 3.076 bcm.
