Ukrainians accumulate millions worth of foreign currency last month Journal Staff Report
The population of Ukraine in February 2008 bought $668.2 million more foreign currency than it sold; while in January 2008 the indicator was $327.3 million, according to the National Bank of Ukraine. Last month Ukrainians sold $2.8 billion, while in January they sold $2.4 billion. The total volume of deals on the cash market in February grew by 22% over January, to $6.27 billion.
