Ukrsotsbank to borrow EUR2.6 billion from overseas in 2008 Journal Staff Report
Ukrsotsbank in 2008 will borrow EUR2.6 billion from abroad, bank Governor Borys Timonkin said Thursday. "We'll borrow mainly in U.S. dollars," he said, adding that 5-7% of international funding in 2008 will be euro-denominated. Timonkin said that the level of the bank's international borrowings in 2007 will be about $2.5 billion. The bank has already raised $2.3 billion.
