Inflation can be kept under 10% this year, says top NBU advisor Journal Staff Report
Ukraine is able to keep this year's inflation under 10%, but the possibility of matching the inflationary forecast set by the government is minimal, says Valeriy Lytvytsky, the head of the group of advisors to the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine. "In my opinion, 7.5% is hardly achievable. We'll have to struggle so that this year could become a turning-point and inflation could be lower than 10%," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
