USDA sees Ukraine’s corn exports growing to 33.5-mln mt in 2021/22 season Journal Staff Report
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its January report increased the forecast for the export of Ukrainian corn in the 2021/22 (July-June) by 1 million tons compared to December 2021 – from 32.5 million tons to 33.5 million tons, and also increased the estimate of its harvest by 2 million tons – from 40 million tons to 42 million tons. In the January report, the USDA also kept the forecast for the wheat harvest in 2021/22 for Ukraine at the level of 33 million tons, its export at 24.2 million tons.
