DONETSK, Dec. 4 - A technical council decided on Monday that the problematic section in the Zasyadko coalmine in Donetsk, in which three explosions have occurred over the past two weeks, will be flooded, the State Mining Rescue Service reported.
Water for the operation should be provided from a higher mine gallery and from the Kalmius River.
Earlier on Monday, Premier Viktor Yanukovych said in Donetsk that separate decisions would be made on each of coalmines that produce coal at a depth if 1,000 meters and deeper.
