KIEV, July 26 – The government of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych may be deliberately postponing Ukraine’s accession to the World Trade Organization, a top official at President Viktor Yushchenko’s office said Thursday.

Oleksandr Shlapak, Yushchenko’s senior economic advisor, said the government failed to approve a number of regulations that open up the accession to the WTO before the end of the year.
