Ukraine seeks to provide tax breaks to CNG-filling stations
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Jan. 23 – The Ukrainian government will seek to draft legislation providing tax breaks to companies building filling stations that use compressed natural gas (CNG) as fuel, energy and fuel minister Yuriy Boyko said.

Ukraine has been building more stations that use CNG, an environmentally much more friendly fuel compared with gasoline, amid growing prices of crude oil and gasoline. CNG is also cheaper than gasoline.
