KYIV, March 21 – The Consumer Confidence Index of Ukrainians in February fell by 6.5 points from the January level and amounted to 70.2 points (on a scale from zero to 200), the last time a lower figure was recorded in February 2022 (64.1 points), says a study by the Info Sapiens agency.
"The winter period ends with the deterioration of consumer confidence indicators. At the same time, the negative dynamics is statistically significant for two indicators - there is a drop in the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) and Index of Economic Expectations (IEE). Besides that, negative expectations regarding unemployment have increased. In general, indicators of confidence and expectations are deteriorating, but the index of current situation is without significant changes," Info Sapiens analysts comment.
