KYIV, March 15 – Fuel consumption in Ukraine in January-February of this year decreased by 20% compared to the same period in 2023, Artem Kuyun, co-founder of the A-95 consulting group, said during an expert review of the Ukrainian economy for February at the Centre for Economic Strategy on March 14.
"This year we see an even greater drop relative to the dynamics of previous years. Firstly, this is the postponement of holidays to December. And secondly, this is the intensification of mobilization activities in Ukraine, that is, people move around cities and the country less, use transport less and consume less fuel," the expert explained.
