BRUSSELS, March 15 – The foreign ministers of the European Union member countries will on Monday approve the decision to create a Ukrainian assistance fund in the amount of EUR 5 billion.
A high-ranking European official told reporters about this on Friday in Brussels. He said the agreements on the Ukraine Facility within the current mechanism of the European Peace Facility in the amount of EUR 5 billion are already ready. In addition, there are opportunities for its further increase, if necessary and in response to the needs of Ukraine with the consent of 27 countries, he added.
