KYIV, March 15 – Residents' deposits in Ukrainian banks, after growing by 7.7% in December 2023 and decreasing by 2.1% in January 2024, in February grew by 1.2%, or UAH 27.6 billion, and reached UAH 2.374 trillion, according to statistics from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to it, in particular, household deposits in February rose by 1.6%, or by UAH 16.9 billion, to UAH 1.067 trillion, including in hryvnia by 2.2%, or by UAH 15 billion, to UAH 706.4 billion, while in foreign currency they fell by 0.4%, or by $0.03 billion in U.S. dollar equivalent, to $9.43 billion.
